EMS Training at The Ness Center

The Ness EMS Program offers specialized mental health and substance use disorder training for first responders, public responders and community members.

Available Training Classes available in person (1 hour; 2-hour, 4 hour or 8 hours)

  • Meeting the Challenge, MH/SUD- Responding to Crisis;
  • Crisis Resources;
  • Crisis De-Escalation using Motivational Interviewing;
  • Assessing suicide risk and referral;
  • Naloxone (Narcan) Training, Distribution and pre and post administration nuggets;
  • Mental Fitness in First Responders;
  • Mental Fitness for LEO Administrators/Supervisors
  • PTSD & Stress Management.
