This program is designed for children aged 3-5 and operates during therapy hours, aligning with a typical work schedule. Modeled after a traditional nursery program, it meets standards of early childhood development and incorporates therapeutic modalities to specifically address children of parents with substance use disorder and its repercussions. It is an essential component of our program, allowing you to fully focus on your appointments, knowing that your children are well cared for in a safe and nurturing environment.

Brave Young Scholars: Empowering School-Aged Children on their Path to Recovery
For moms with kids aged 6-12, our program offers comprehensive assistance. We work closely with local schools to enroll children, assist with transportation, and provide packed lunches. Understanding the specific socio-emotional needs of this age group, we create program modalities tailored to address their changing and age-appropriate needs.
Emotional support is crucial for tweens as they navigate changes and the program aims to support them as they understand the effects of addiction on themselves and their families. Family therapy sessions are a key component of the program creating a safe space to address any issues collectively, to heal and grow.
We also offer stress management workshops and life skills to reduce any stress or trauma from having a parent with a substance use disorder. Homework support and afterschool enrichment programs are available in our shared library and community gathering spaces, aiming to enhance children’s well-being and development. Outdoors, a dedicated playground and recreation area provide a safe space for children to play, make friends, and foster emotional development.
